Canada vs. America: A Hockey Story

When producer and total Canadian Anna Cole decided to go to college south of the border in Montana, she thought hockey would be more of a thing. She soon found out that Americans don’t worship at the alter of Don Cherry. Some of them don’t even know what Lord Stanley’s Cup is. Not that everyone down here is ignorant. Anna visits with the coaches and players with Missoula’s U-14 team and even drops the term “top cheddar” to a teenager who gets it. What to make of all this? Let’s ask Anna’s dad, who sets her straight on a few things, including whether or not she was any good when she played with the Carstairs youth league back home. (Hint: Beautiful skating, Anna! Stick-handling? Not so much.)
