Glacier Goats: Nature’s Pee-Lickers

Colin May‘s story digs into a study happening at Glacier National Park that, in part, answers the question: What happens when mountain goats seek out and start licking human urine? When people, as people do, go off trail to relieve themselves, goats follow. They crave and need the salt that’s there, putting goats and humans in company that’s a little too close. That has real ramifications. There’s news in here! There’s a reference to Monte, the University of Montana mascot! And we mentioned pee, right?
